Well here is an update to my woes with the UIA, otherwise known as the Unemployment Insurance Agency of the State of Michigan.
I have had to endure as many millions of others the worst time in my professional career; I’ve been laid off from work since 2007 and the prospects are slim. It’s not that work isn’t available, but if you live in Michigan and do not have a car, bike, or some other form of transportation you are having a hard time.
But here is what I wanted to share. I rencently posted a video on UTUBE addressing the situation I have been facing recently. I did it to bring attention to the UIA and the lack of professionalism and the lack of attention to the myrid of claimants who are facing dire situations. I have a solution and that would be to contact your local representatives, senators and if it’s critical enough send your concerns to the White House.
There may be some who think this action is overkill but believe me it’s worth you time to get these people whom you have voted into office to help you! Get the assistance you need, they are there to help you. Your taxes pay their salaries and when your local government offices are not responding to your calls, then you have to take it to the next level.
So, remember when you can’t get through on the phone, no one returns your calls or letters take it to the next level, contact your State Representatives, Senators, Congressperson and even the White House. There is an ole saying” the squeaky wheel gets the oil”. Be loud ! Be heard and the best to you as you demand what is your right to have, HELP in time of need…Peace
