My heart breaks every time I listen to the news, or read an online post. I have this sense of emptiness and foreboding that is no longer comprehensible. I can’t make sense of the litany of asinine, bull-headed, arrogance and hubris of those welding power in the power-hungry institutions of this country’s government.
Where are the Boy Scouts?
Boy Scout Oath:
Where are these people, those holding office in our cities, townships, state and federal government? They are missing from action, they are AWOL while the United States is burning and Trump aka Nero plays his fiddle of death and we all die.
We as a nation have become void of understanding, void of history, void of common sense. The ssues we suffer are a result of allowing the status quo to continue their onslaught of deregulation of protections enacted for the benefit of the people. The financial dismemberment of the “working class”. In addition to this the protections once considered untouchable are now on the “Republican” operating table to strip us of our own money, Social Security.
It’s amusing to listen to Paul Ryan speak with disdain about the “entitlements” that must be dealt with. Mr. Ryan in case you are as dumb as your co-conspirators those “entitlements” are exactly that! From the age of 16 my earnings have been taxed forcefully taken before one could even see their actual earnings for “Social Security”. My earnings, not YOURS Mr. Ryan… So you are damn right, that money is an entitlement because I am entitled to MY MONEY!.
Getting back to the question where are the Boy Scouts? We have none my fellow Americans, we have no one coming to our rescue. We the so-called people must get off our sorry asses and fight for right. What are so afraid of? This body of sell outs holding sway over our lives can and must be stopped.
We”the people”must demonstrate loyalty, trustworthiness, friendliness, helpfulness, charity, bravery to each other and fight for right in this country.
We must become our own “Boy Scouts”! What are you prepared to do for your furure? What are you willing to fight for? Would you consider your family to be important, would you consider your neighborhoods to be of vaule? What about your own life?
Are you/me not worthy of being treated with deceny, dignity, humility, kindness, and love? It’s past time to stand up and be counted. Let’s stop allowing the elites to divide us with rehtoric and code words that only serve them.
Be the real Boy Scout for yourself, for your families and friends!
